Manuscript FAQ
Q: Is Eirelander Publishing a vanity press?
A:
No. Eirelander Publishing is a publisher, not a vanity press. We are a
competitive royalty-paying publisher. There is no charge for editing or
cover art unless you should decide to leave Eirelander after
editing has begun or within the first year in which the contract is in
force. We employ a 'Kill Clause' in compensation should the author decide
to terminate the contract after work has begun. Should Eirelander Publishing
terminate the contract, the author is not responsible.
Q: How many edits will my book receive?
A:
With other publishers you may receive one edit, but with Eirelander
Publishing, authors should expect at least three full edits.
The first edit would be for any global issues, the second- to go back
over the previous edits and issues not already addressed. The third edit
should be for grammar. If an author should need more editing, then our
goal is to make the book as ready as possible for publication.
Q: Where will my book be available?
A:
Eirelander Publishing follows a New York style
distribution platform. Our books are broadly distributed through third
party sites, including but not limited to Amazon Kindle, Barnes and
Noble, Omni-Books, Books on Board and others. We are a Green Company,
so only books of a qualifying length will only go to print.

a list of review sites should the author wish to approach reviewers, the
books release is announced on all of our social networking sites, and if
at any time the author wishes to discuss potential marketing or promo
opportunities, we are happy to assist. Eirelander Publishing constantly
receives promotional opportunities for their authors which are posted on
our Yahoo Author's group.

When do authors get paid?
A:
We pay quarterly and within 45 days after the end of quarter.
This is allow for 3rd party distribution royalty payments and
reports to arrive at the end the quarter.
