Ben Leyb
Ben Leyb has written fiction, poetry and plays. His translations of French writers have been published widely and won awards. Ever since the first world history class he took as a teenager, he's been fascinated by the social changes that swept through France during the Romantic era of the 1830s. Though his native language is English, he learned French as a baby thanks to a nanny who was an unacknowledged daughter of one of the Rothschilds.
